"Although it is common for people to marry within their own culture , the Deaf community has the highest rate of intra-cultural marriages of all." Remove the space after the word culture and before the comma. Also, the "of all" wording is awkward. Could you do an internal link for "intra-cultural marriage"? "Another perspective is referred to as the cultural-linguistic view." Can "cultural-linguistic view" be internally linked?Paigemorse (talk) 15:36, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

"This community provides support, easy social interaction, and a 'refuge from the grinding frustrations of the hearing world.'" This is not true for all deaf people, so maybe make it more general by saying "The community can provide support"Paigemorse (talk) 15:36, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

"As of 2011, it is estimated that there are 35 million people considered deaf of hard-of-hearing living in the United States." The "of" should be an "or." Paigemorse (talk) 15:37, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

"Studies show that deafness in children is an inherited trait somewhere between 11-30% of the time." I would not use percentage symbols and instead type out "percent" and not use the dash for 11 to 30 percent. Paigemorse (talk) 15:38, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

"By improving the recognition of ASL, better access to school materials, deaf teachers, interpreters, and video-telephone communication would take place." This shows bias. Say that "Some argue that by improving..." Paigemorse (talk) 15:40, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

"There are k-12 schools for the deaf throughout the world and the United States, however higher education specifically for the deaf is more limited." Can you internally link "k-12 schools" in case people from other countries are unfamiliar with the concept? Paigemorse (talk) 15:41, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

"Gallaudet University (often referred to as "Gally") is the first and only liberal-arts college for deaf students in the world." I don't think you need the "often referred to as Gally." It is irrelevant to your topic. Paigemorse (talk) 15:43, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

"since the Deaf community is relatively small, Deaf people usually know some other Deaf people in common." I wouldn't say this if you don't have a source to cite it. It is a generalization and not applicable to a lot of deaf people I'm sure. Paigemorse (talk) 15:45, 28 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
