Disambiguation link notification for February 17
editHi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Joseph Csaky, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Jacques Doucet (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Alinea (talk) 09:44, 18 December 2014 (UTC)== Your revert in Post-Impressionism == The link was a hint, that the article exists in the german Wikipedia: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manet_and_the_Post-Impressionists. I think the article will be useful in en:wiki too. -- Alinea (talk) 11:54, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- Interesting Alinea. Thanks for that link. This would surely be a helpful article in English too. However, until it is written (and I could help you write it) it's best not to have a big red link at the start of the article. Until then, on the other hand, I did link in a citation, the original catalogue, for the benefit of the reader. Coldcreation (talk) 18:27, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry, Coldcreation2, in Germany red links are welcome to inspire authors to write an article. Perhaps somebody of the british community interested in their art may write that article in the future. Merry christmas and a happy new year. -- Alinea (talk) 20:09, 17 December 2014 (UTC)
- No problem Alinea. In English wiki too red links inspire authors. Just not so much in the lead. I will red link Manet and the Post-Impressionists where it is discussed in the article. Merry christmas and a happy new year to you too. :-) Coldcreation (talk) 03:37, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
- Done. Thanks for pointing out the German article to me. Coldcreation (talk) 03:40, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks, Coldcreation. Beginning to write the article I was inspired by Virginia Woolf and the later Armory Show. Have a nice day. -- Alinea (talk) 09:20, 18 December 2014 (UTC)

I remember you are fit in uploading files to commons. Would it be possible for you to move the files of Vassily Kandinsky and Piet Mondrian from the english wikipedia to commons? Their work will be free of copyright in January 2015. I regret that I am not able to do it myself. -- Alinea (talk) 09:44, 18 December 2014 (UTC)
