Fixing vandalism

Hi Kai,

Thanks for fighting vandalism. However, you didn't catch all the vandalism at Climate of Italy; you only caught one of the vandalism edits. I've given you the rollback privilege to make things easier, despite your declined request, because of your vast experience on the German Wikipedia. Use it wisely! :-)

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. Should this line be updated?

Considering the latest de-wp developments, more people than me might view your English user page. Therefore, you might consider changing the next line:

My home-wiki is the german wikipedia where i am are a member of the arbcom.

and possibly add either some comments on what is going on, or a short sentence explaining that you'd prefer not to comment. (Jener, wer ein bisschen Deutch versteht, kann vom Anfang deiner de-wp Benutzerseite natürlich gewisse Überzeugungen auslesen.)

Hi. I hope you don't mind me contacting you in English – I saw your "en-3" userbox at dewiki. Can you explain why you reverted my edit here [1]? I'm not sure what "DRV" is and why my edit was rolled back as if it were vandalism. This is a valid photo used in almost every language Wikipedia on this person, including here on enwiki for quite a while, so I'm not sure what the issue is. I changed it at dewiki because the photo there was older and less clear as it didn't show Watson facing towards/looking at the camera. Thanks, 72 (talk) 00:02, 25 January 2019 (UTC)

This photo is a screenshot of an YT-clip and this is not compatible with the copyright-law of european states. I also tagged this picture as copy vio --Codc (talk) 00:05, 25 January 2019 (UTC)

I'm not entirely familiar with Commons, although before adding the image I saw this and thought otherwise, because the template (commons:Template:LicenseReview) appears to suggest that editors do not add that template if there is no permission or copyright violation, etc.. Sorry to contact you again, I'm finding the licensing terminology at Commons quite confusing, and was wondering if you could help? May I ask, are you referring specifically to commons:Commons:Screenshots? The video that image is taken from ([2]) is licensed with a Creative Commons "CC-BY" which is marked as "OK" to use at Commons:Licensing#Well-known_licenses. Is there something I'm missing here? Essentially, I'm asking based on the screenshot at File:Jake_Paul_2016.png (also has been used on a high-visibility page for a while). @72: the license status of the video looks okay to me, which is why I passed the license review. If there’s something else suspect about it, I’m not clear as to what that is. I’ve converted the no permission deletion tag over at Commons to a c:COM:DR (similar to WP:FFD here) for a more in-depth discussion about the file’s copyright status. clpo13_(talk) 19:16, 27 January 2019 (UTC)
