Is this a problem?
It looks like the emergency-shutoff page (User:ClueBot_NG/Run) for ClueBot (where an admin can enter true or false) is now only semi-protected - giving all autoconfirmed users access to edit it. Just wondering if this is supposed to be that way -- if not, it might cause some issues... Thanks- Theopolisme (talk) 21:10, 4 April 2012 (UTC)
- It used to be fully unprotected, however due to the earlier server issues at Wikimedia Labs, I asked User:5 albert square to semi-protect the page to stop IPs stopping the bot with no way of turning back on. AFAIK, Cobi wanted it left unprotected, if he wanted it protected fully, he could do that himself :) - Rich(MTCD)T|C|E-Mail 21:52, 4 April 2012 (UTC)

Your ClueBot just reverted some vandalism to a page I'd been working on. Seriously impressed by how well it did it - I'm pretty new to Wikipedia and this is my first experience with one of these vandalism cleaners. Great work!

Abuse Filter on the Article Feedback Tool
Hey there :). You're being contacted because you're an edit filter manager, At the moment, we're developing Version 5 of the Article Feedback Tool, which you may or may not have heard about. If you haven't; for the first time, this will involve a free-text box where readers can submit comments :). Obviously, there's going to be junk, and we want to minimise that junk. To do so, we're working the Abuse Filter into the tool.
