Editing edit

I noticed your good edits, and just want to let you know about a couple of minor points. The template is {{Infobox politician}} (lowercase 'p'). You do not need to be concerned with the many details in the Manual of Style, but if you were ever curious, it contains things like how titles should appear (which is the reasoning behind "Infobox politician"). At John-Paul Langbroek, you changed "He" to "John-Paul". That's fine, but we normally use the plain surname, as you did elsewhere.

At Andrew Cripps, if you needed to use <br /> you should use the simpler <br> (which generates the same html, i.e. the / is added automatically). However, I don't think the line break is needed in that article. Is there supposed to be an image for Cripps? We generally would not add the name of an image unless it had already been uploaded. File copyright problem with File:Glen Elmes New.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:Glen Elmes New.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Bilby (talk) 00:23, 29 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Recent uploads edit

Hi! sorry for the above templated message, but as it covers the information you need I figured it was best to let it stay. However, while adding pictures of politicians is great, we need to be fairly strict about what we include, as we don't want to get into any problems with copyright. Unfortunately, the images you just uploaded (File:Tracydavis.jpg, File:AndrewCripps.jpg, File:JarrodBleijie.jpg, File:JarrodBleijie.jpg and File:Glen Elmes New.jpg) didn't have any information about their copyright status, and they looked like they may be studio pictures, suggesting that the copyright may belong to the photographer or the subjects. Generally with living people we're limited to photos that are in the public domain or use another free-use license, such as Creative Commons - we don't generally rely on fair use, as with public figures free use is a better choice. Anyway, if you need any help just let me know, and if you are aware of the copyright status that would be great! - Bilby (talk) 00:31, 29 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Notification of automated file description generation edit

Your upload of File:Bruce Flegg.jpg or contribution to its description is noted, and thanks (even if belatedly) for your contribution. In order to help make better use of the media, an attempt has been made by an automated process to identify and add certain information to the media's description page.

This notification is placed on your talk page because a bot has identified you either as the uploader of the file, or as a contributor to its metadata. It would be appreciated if you could carefully review the information the bot added. To opt out of these notifications, please follow the instructions here. Thanks!
