Use of genre/services fields in infoboxes edit

Hello Chilled,
I would like to commend you on your recent edits in the restaurant-related articles. On quick note, please do not take out the genre of the restaurant from the infoboxes. Also, as a general rule of thumb, WP:Foodservice does not use the services field in infoboxes.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you, much appreciated! As for the infoboxes, I was closely following the guidelines of Template:Infobox company. I actually prefer the genre there, as it made a clear distinction within the industry. Thank you for adjusting all of the genre and WP:Foodservice additions already. I will be sure not to add it in future edits. Is there a place where styling for restaurant-specific infoboxes is located? Chilled616 (talk) 14:24, 13 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
I do not believe there is, its been awhile since I updated the page. The uses that I can recall for genre are:
the full list is at types of restaurant.

Haha, you're keeping an eye on the restaurant articles and myself pretty closely. I know you changed LongHorn Steakhouse's and Outback Steakhouse's genres to Steakhouse, but what are your thoughts about changing them to Casual dining, Steakhouse? I feel like both titles accurately reflect the genre. Also, on that basis, Steakhouse should be added to the types of restaurant article. Chilled616 (talk) 06:53, 14 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Go for it! There is no hard and fast rules as allot of these fall into multiple categories including public house. I have worked on most of those articles at one point or another and created most of those navigational templates on the page, and they are part of my 4000+ strong watchlist. --Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 19:58, 15 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Assessments edit

Hey Chilled, you can reassess articles you have worked on up to c-class based on the standards listed on the page. Once you wish to move into the B-Class area is when you should request an assessment. --Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 08:43, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Ruby Tuesday edit

Hi. FYI Notification of change in RM proposal heading, I had to strike out "and the actress". It's a bold edit which I wouldn't normally make, but I am guessing that you were blindsided by a badly made stub. Feel free to remove the strike out. I don't feel strongly :) In ictu oculi (talk) 03:37, 19 May 2012 (UTC)\Reply

Let me chime in here, Chilled. Thanks for your note about my critique of the details at that RM. Please don't feel singled out for a stern lecture! It's quite tricky getting those details right, and we are all still learning about Google. It changes its ways without notice. It is common for those ways to be ignored at RMs, and I like to give a little instruction when I can. It is refreshing to have it acknowledged.
Best wishes with polishing the article up to a high standard. If you need any advice or assistance, just let me know.

Ruby Tuesday GA nom edit

Hey, I saw you nominated Ruby Tuesday as a good article. I am not the reviewer, but you might want to take a look at some of the other Category:GA-Class Food and drink articles to see where you will need to go on that article. I would recommend you start on the lead. --Jeremy (blah blahI did it!) 16:20, 16 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
