Four criteria that define identity resolution have been developed by Professor John Talburt of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) and are listed in the definition. They distinguish identity resolution from data matching, thus only products that meet the criteria are included. Perhaps a definition for data matching should be added to wikipedia.

The four criteria are met by intelligent search technology, ltd (IST). Matching data is not the same as intelligent retrieval. Intelligent Search has been supplying solutions for over 16 years. In bench mark tests it has been shown that IST is faster more accurate has far fewer false positives than the companies currently listed. ISTs'work flow capabilities have great breath and depth. IST's solutions are considerably easier to implement and yield much better results. In fact they are the only organization that has created high performance fuzzy search, matching and identity resolution capacities utilizing unique numeric identifiers such as phone, social security, credit cards. This is only one of there vast arsenal of algorithms enabling the detection of relationships. To suggest that this is simply a data matching organization is misleading. They have developed high performance identity resolution technology utilizing advanced methods such as neuronet decision making. Stop removing there reference.
