The peer review is not posted here, but I thought it would be easier to put the response here so it is easier to find

To whom it may concern,

I would like to thank Draco741 for taking the time to read my edits, and leave their thoughtful comments and suggestions. I appreciated their generally positive opinion of my draft. Below is my response to specific changes which were suggested.

Comment : Something that should be mentioned in nucleophilic substitution is how the nucleophile can actually be the leaving group in some molecules an example being if a halogen attacks a tertiary alcohol.

Response: While it is true that nucleophile and leaving group are not mutually exclusive, I felt adding this information may confuse readers, and that it would be best to leave the context as the nucleophile comes in, and the leaving group leaves.

Comment: Might want to mention what conditions aromatic substitution works best in.

Response: It totally makes sense that we should present readers with as much information as possible, however I felt adding this would create too much overlap between the main aromatic substitution article and this one.

Again, I thank you for your suggestions, and I hope you are satisfied with my responses.

Sincerely,
