Release Dates/The Element of Freedom

edit

Whilst all edits to wikipedia are welcome disruptive edits are not. At WP:Albums and WP:Songs it clearly says that the release date is when you can first BUY a single not when it is released to radio. "Empire State of Mind part 2" was released before "Put it in a Love song" and thus has already had its peak chart run. "PIIALS" has yet to release its video or be available as a single to download therefore it has yet to be fully released. Please do not proceed to edit the album and songs again. "ESOMp2" is the third UK single, "PIIALS" is the third US single (fourth overall) a fifth single from the album has not fully been confirmed yet. Lil-unique1 (talk) 23:37, 10 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hard release section

edit

Please stop adding the digital download. The song was not released separately to digital download, only through the album. Also the "radio premiere" does not need to be included because the official impact dates are. Candyo32 (talk) 20:57, 14 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Gaga-beyonce-telephone.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Gaga-beyonce-telephone.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.

Please do not add unsourced or original content, as you did to Telephone (song). Doing so violates Wikipedia's verifiability policy. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Legolas (talk2me) 10:18, 15 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Advice

edit

I've noticed that recently you've begun editing many music articles. Whilst some of your contributions have been useful your editing style requires some tweaking to meet wikipedia standards. first of all i would like to ask you to please use a WP:edit summary everytime you make an edit to a page. This helps other editors to identify which edits are useful and which ones constitute vandalism. Also use the 'preview' button and this will reduce the number of times you have to click submit. Please bare in mind that with any edit you make the content of your edit must be verifiable. Finally i would recommend that you take a look at the following rule pages:

If you have any questions about editing please feel free to ask me or any of the other experienced editors on wikipeida. Also remember that every page has its own talk page which is where you can bring up article issues and discuss changes. Lil-unique1 (talk) 17:48, 16 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
