Our edits at Girl Meets World

I got confused with the changes made by the ipv6, your revert to an old incorrect version of mine and your fixes. I think I have it all fixed now. I don't think I undid anything substantial of yours, but you may wish to check. Geraldo Perez (talk) 13:23, 10 October 2014 (UTC)

@Geraldo Perez: ,Yeah I've got a notification saying that you reverted my edits, But it's OK though. I checked the page and found no errors.--Chamith (talk) 16:43, 10 October 2014 (UTC)

Ramsey Nouah

Hi,

Your recent revision in Ramsey Nouah's page is appreciated but please note that I am a member of his team and every information put on the page is authentic.

Kindly allow my recent changes and any more that will be made from time to time.

Thank you for your understanding.

@Accesskele: Hello,I appreciate your concern to make Wikipedia a better place, previously I reverted you edits because I thought you damaged the page's layout,But please don't edit pages related your own interest, relationships, family or friends because it clearly violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view and conflicts of interest. As there are no serious errors with your edits like adding of un-cited material, adding of controversial details I think it's OK to keep your changes to that page.

Paul Clark Biography

Hi, I removed the Biography section and turned it into Early years and Education and Career at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Clark_(keyboardist) and you reverted it back due to Removal of cited content.

All cited content apart from some personal information that needed removing and an incorrect forthcoming album title is still present, in fact it has been expanded to include more information that may be of interest to anyone searching for information.

My edit on Sonic the Hedgehog (TV_series)

I added the edit and I thought it was a good addition. Please return my edit and here is my source. Link — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adventuremaster18 (talkcontribs) 00:25, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

@Adventuremaster18:Hey,We don't use wikia network as a good source because content in wikia network is also taken by wikipedia, If we took wikia network as a source then we'd be taking Wikipedia as a source;inside Wikipedia--Chamith (talk) 02:49, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

Beaver Hat

Hello ChamithN, I don't need a sandbox thank you. As a hatmaker with 30 years experience it annoys me to no end the number of original and repro tophats out there identified as beaver. Only John McMicking of Dundas, Ontario currently makes beaver felt hats for about $1000. This photo is a cheap reproduction wool felt, no sheen, no pile. Have a look at Charles Laughton's custom hat made exclusively for him for the role of Bligh. http://www.purplefalcon.com/articles/Best-In-Role.html Laughton was the prototypical method actor - insisting on genuine period costume. Quality hats made after 1850 were of black dyed silk. Beaver was not viable again until the early 20th century but only for the descriminating tastes; same deal with eiderdown pillows. Be sure you are sitting down when you price out one of these. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.45.159.144 (talk) 03:30, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

@206.45.159.144: The image was added by someone else,He is the one who named the image, Editors must discuss on article's talk page before doing changes to images caption, date. Mostly because it might be copyrighted protected material --Chamith (talk) 03:50, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

No, it's not my opinion

The source used actually says "the announcement was very low-key". Here's another source that says "Why this matters: It doesn't, if you're on a traditional PC or Mac. I don't know how much the feature will get used on traditional PCs". You want to add details on a minor change which violates WP:NOTGUIDE, WP:NOTNEWS.--Vaypertrail (talk) 11:12, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

@Vaypertrail: None of the sources you provide say that announcement isn't important,What they are saying is that the software (Steam music) isn't important as it's not a new thing to user who already uses other kinds of music players. And furthermore steam music is not a news. Details which I added about steam music doesn't violate WP:NOTNEWS , it's a new part which was introduced to steam (Just like big picture). The importance of this software to it's users doesn't matter. What matters is as an encyclopedia Wikipedia must contain details that there is something called steam music, embedded in steam.--Chamith (talk) 13:34, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

Chosin Reservoir

How do you believe it was worsened? Gob Lofa (talk) 20:08, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

@Gob Lofa: I didn't say that your edits worsened it.I just it was better before. In Wikipedia article it's better to display shorten words (abbreviates) with dots. For example U.S. stands for United states. and also you removed an internal link to North Korean page without explaining if there is a possible over-linking --Chamith (talk) 20:14, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
US also stands for United States. We don't use C.I.A., we use CIA. I've no problem linking to North Korea, but northeastern Korea reads better than northeastern North Korea. Gob Lofa (talk) 20:45, 11 October 2014 (UTC)
Do what you think is good for that article, After all Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that everyone can edit--Chamith (talk)

What's more important: some soon-to-be-forgotten TV series or Wagner's masterpiece?

You've undone my REVERT on the redirecting of "Ring of the Nibelungs" from some soon-to-be-forgotten TV series back to Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen, based on "identified as test/vandalism using STiki".

Instead of starting some silly edit war I'll ask you to consider which one should be targetted by the redirect, and leave it for you to do it. While at it, please also take care of the "The ring of the Nibelungs" redirect, which I was about to revert too, and protect both pages if it is within your powers. Maegil (talk) 20:23, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

@Maegil: Woah woah calm down, I wasn't expecting this when I reverted that edit. Anyway even if it was a soon to be forgotten tv series the article page of it still exists, So you better discuss about re-directing to another article on talk page before doing so. I don't have anything against you. Read that box on top of my page  --Chamith (talk) 20:57, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

For some reason I tend to pass the impression that I'm some sort of ogre, on the internet... :( Anyway, it was a redirect from Wagner's masterpiece to a TV show. Nothing about it on the talk page, someone just went and did it; I reverted it. I would be unhappy if someone did it again, and some people have no respect for any culture higher than mass media: the other redirect I was about to revert was done by someone else. Since you're probably much more knowlegeable than me on the wiki, and know better what to do, would you please be so kind as to revert both redirects back to Wagner, and protect them? Thank you.Maegil (talk) 21:21, 11 October 2014 (UTC) Thank you, I used your modification as a template, and changed the other redirect.Maegil (talk) 00:13, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 12

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Box Office Mojo, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amazon. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Robinson Tehcnologies

Thank you for your notice and the page update for the Robinson Tehcnologies. But the total accounts made for the game Growtopia is actually 10 million (as of September 2014). I was also amazed by the total edits you have made. Tibenas (talk) 04:27, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

Accept reason: I've removed the auto block as you are clearly a good faith user caught in an auto block intended for someone else. PhilKnight (talk) 11:36, 12 October 2014 (UTC)

The Simpsons

We're good right? Do you see my point for changing the episode list? Grapesoda22 (talk) 00:37, 13 October 2014 (UTC)

@Grapesoda22: Of course, I only reverted it once but I didn't continue to do so. Because I know that it violates three-revert-rule. You know, it wasn't me who kept reverting your edits, As far as I can remember IP users were doing that. I have nothing against other Wikipedia editors. Chill  --Chamith (talk) 00:41, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
I mainly thought that the current season should be trancluded because the information is high traffic and subject to regular change and should be synced up properly. The other issue I'm having is people fighting me left and right with the upcoming episodes section. Grapesoda22 (talk) 00:45, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
@Grapesoda22: I didn't re-add "upcoming episodes" sections, What I did was creating a separate wiki-table for season 26. Anyway I requested page protection for that page. Hopefully IP users won't bother you anymore (if it gets accepted)--Chamith (talk) 00:49, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
I added the upcoming episode with out a scheduled air date section. The section they're fighting me for is Upcoming episodes, which lists every episode yet to air in the season with a given title, however, the next seven episodes already have an air date set and are listed in the season 26 table. The problem here is with the Upcoming episodes table they want also lists episodes 556-562, making it repeat information. Grapesoda22 (talk) 01:12, 13 October 2014 (UTC)

Change to my Wickipedia Edit for I got a Rocket

Hi Chamith, thanks for your message. I've only just created a wikipedia account (Though I've inadvertently started my account with a lowercase 'g' for my surname and can't seem to change it, oops) and never made an edit before, so forgive me if i've made a mess of it.

I was attempting to add myself as creator/illustrator of the book 'I got A Rocket!'. I've been updating my website, and listing various books i've illustrated, plus linking to relevant sites. While doing so I came across the Wikipedia reference to the animated series, and noticed i wasn't listed as co-creator of the book on which it was based, which in fact I am. So I was attempting to correct the oversight. It's a fully illustrated picture book, with Matt Zurbo and I sharing royalties evenly. In addition to fully illustrating the book, I also contributed character designs for the animated adaptation. So I believe it to be a legitimate claim.

Here's a couple of sources for proof:

National Library of Australia: http://catalogue.nla.gov.au/Record/1526813

Children's Book Council of Australia: http://cbca.org.au/natnot98PB.htm

SLR Production (Producers of the animated series): http://www.slrproductions.com/content/i-got-a-rocket/

Hope this meets with your approval,

Kind Regards, Dean — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dean gorissen (talkcontribs) 11:00, 13 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi,Dean It's OK, I too made mistakes when I was new to Wikipedia. The links you have provide say that you are the illustrator of the book. But I'm sorry to say that We only credit the writers (under based on tag) here on Wikipedia.Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a directory or database of books. And you are editing articles specifically related to you which violated conflicts of interest policy which harms Wikipedia's neutrality.--Chamith (talk) 11:10, 13 October 2014 (UTC)
