Cu plăcere

edit

Dahn 11:27, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:RaduIrimescu.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:RaduIrimescu.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Leonard Orban

edit

Thank you very much for the link and the translation and for your quick response. I needed badly this reference, but i couldn't find it as I do not speak Romanian. Any other possibly useful link or suggestion is welcome. I believe the article on Orban has reached a very good level and, with some more effort, it can become even a featured article. Thanks again! --Michkalas 18:03, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Inscription on Cross Stone

edit

Here is the exact expert translation of the inscription:

"To the memory of Lusik Koylawean, beloved wife of Dawit', daughter of Paghtasar, who was married in Po't'shan. Oh Lord, accept this Your resplendent Church in Homori." Best wishes, -- Zara-arush (talk) 20:50, 15 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

translation (armenian text)

edit

Many words I don't recognize in there mate. I don't even think some of them are words. "Z-memroial...the birth... the death of...marriage...falling..." I even tried Google Translate to see if it's my lack of vocabulary, and most words are just transliterated instead and not translated (therefore, inexistent in Google Translate's bank of words). Where did you get this from? The fact that the word memorial (hishatak) starts with a Z makes me think it's from Grabar (old Armenian). If that's the case, I won't be able to help you.KentronHayastan (talk) 23:18, 18 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
