Copyright on Image:Mills_Logo.jpg

Hi. I've noticed that the licensing tag on the above-referenced image claims that it is licensed under a Creative Commons license, but you don't specify a source or claim an authorship for the image, and I suspect that the image's copyright status is actually more along the lines that it is owned by Mills College. There is nothing wrong with using the image on Wikipedia's article about Mills even if it is copyrighted (the userbox is another story, but I can fix that for you like I fixed USF's {{usfca}}), but it needs to be correctly labeled in regards to its copyright status and include a fair-use statement. Please let us know if this is an image you have created yourself or which Mills has decided to release into the public domain and review the criteria for fair use on Wikipedia. Thanks.

Lack of photo source information

The photos you uploaded currently lack information on their source. A source is needed so that the licensing of the photos can be verified. Images that lack sourcing can be deleted. Someone from the college needs to send an email to "permissions-en AT wikimedia DOT org" confirming the licensing of the photos. You cannot use published publicity material, images, or or web pages on WP unless you release the copyright under GFDL as explained above. Fix that image also, as asked for, or it will soon get deleted. As you must realise, it is necessary for WP to give strict observance to copyright requirements.
