edit

Your recent editing history at Sinhalese people shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. @Hzh Hi I am reverting vandalism by an individual inserting a non related topic of Tamil genetics in a page that is about as Sinhala people Casseykay (talk) 13:10, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Whatever you think is correct, go to discussion when your edits have been reverted multiple times. Are you also Gabrielasirwatham? In which case you may have broken more rules there. Hzh (talk) 13:20, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Hzh No. but I have this page under watch due to Tamil nationalists repeatedly vandalizing the page and twisting research findings. so do others. A genetic study research article is being misquoted. Casseykay (talk) 23:25, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I am not Casey, I co-watch this page with several others. A research article is being deliberately misquoted by a man named RoshanDickwella, you can look at his nickname and see it is already offensive nickname. Meta79 is another one keep on damaging the statement.
Please read the simple highlights of this genetic research https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10514440/
It clearly states a greater West Eurasian geneflow than South India (highlights section, the section after graphical extract in the beginning).
The vandals are saying the opposite, that the greater geneflow was from south India to Sinhalese people, when the article clearly states Maratha (West India) and Sinhalese share more in common genetically, with strong West Eurasian gene flow.
Only STU - Sri Lankan Tamil uppercastes in the United Kingdom (STU) share closer genetics with Sinhalese, than the Sri Lankan Tamils (ST).
No where it mentions Tamils as a whole sharing genes with Sinhalese. Gabrielasirwatham (talk) 23:56, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for contravening Wikipedia's policy against harassment, as you did at Talk:Sinhalese people. Your edit there (now deleted) was simply racist and we do not accept that at Wikipedia.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Black Kite (talk) 08:42, 22 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Black Kite sure. thanks for the censorship on Sinhalese people. Casseykay (talk) 08:50, 22 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Not censorship at all. If you had said what you wanted to say without the racist abuse you would still be unblocked. Black Kite (talk) 10:25, 22 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Black Kite never abused anyone. pointed out the inability of some to understand English as it is not their first language. That is not racist abuse. On the other hand you repeatedly blocking ethnic Sinhalese people out for calling out your errors on Sinhalese people, is racist abuse. Casseykay (talk) 10:49, 22 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have no idea what race you are and neither do I care. But if you're telling other people to "go ask a white native speaker of English to interpret for you" then you are not welcome here, even if your edits were productive, which they aren't. Black Kite (talk) 12:08, 22 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Black Kite Yes. Asking some one to go to a white native speaker of English to help them interpret something they cannot comprehend properly is normal thing to say. Misquoting scientific data written in English to give incorrect conclusions about Sinhalese history shows lack of command over the English language. As far as not welcome is concerned ,any Sinhalese who wants to correct or challenge incorrect article entry is not made welcome by your admins and metta79 a Tamil chauvinist and by you, strangely a Sinhalese Australian like myself.
Well you decide what goes on or not as you are the one with access control.
meta79 an ethnic Tamil is allowed complete control to narrate Sinhalese history as he sees fit.
so much for Wikipedia for all.
