May Kitson edit

Hello and welcome. I noticed the May Kitson article. She sounds very interesting. I am guessing this is a relative? I have been here for a while on wikiepdia. I want to let you know that unless you can find some verifiable sources, the article may not survive. There is a process call Erticles for Deletion. If this article gets nominated, editors will want to see verifiable references. Can you find anything either on the web or in books orother publications? You may want to read this page WP:Bio just so you know what will be needed. Good luck! Gaff ταλκ 02:30, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you, but she is an unknown as to articles written about her, as far as I know. I am too new at writing articles that I do not know how to add etc. Can you explain what is a verifieable source? A film is available for purchase with her in it. Does this count?

A film with her in it is lovely and given that she's given focus for a significant amount of time, will satisfy notability requirements nicely. We, of course, being essentially lazy people, love having web links to click on to check verifiability. That isn't a requirement at all, though. For someone that was out and about pre-internet, just put in some references exactly like you would a bibliography at the end of a paper and you're good to go. Here's the official policy: WP:V. Good luck and happy editing! - Richfife 19:55, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Do I list other web sites for reference? ie a list of known movies; her particiaption in a labor wage dispute? and city directories and U.S.census? Carmeldesigner 17:22, 29 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

I've been very excited to discover your work on Ellin & Kitson, and it's componet elements (That would be Ellin and Kitson). I'm guessing that you are the family archivest for some of this, as I happen to be with my family. But that is not why I'm here. I would like to discuss these gentlemen with you, here, on my talk page, or drop me a message eeklon at yahoo dot com (best option). I am working on a large (so it seems to me) architectural sculpture project which I'd like to discuss with you. Carptrash 17:36, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

October 2013 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Henry Hudson Kitson may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • at the [[École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts|École des Beaux-Arts]] under the sculptor [[Jean-Marie Bonnassieux] and sculptor Dumont. Kitson also was enrolled in the [[Ecole nationale

When you do edit

an edit such as the name change for Henry Hudson Kitson that you just did it is considered good form to include a reference. Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 01:57, 31 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

July 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Jessicapierce. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Bruce McCandless, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you.   Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Bruce McCandless, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Jessicapierce (talk) 14:48, 19 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
