My name is Sonia, and I'm one of the Online Ambassadors, a group of experienced Wikipedians who offer mentorship to newcomers. You don't need to read anything; you can just jump right in and try to improve Wikipedia. If you need help, you can talk with us right now or leave me a message on my user talk page.

Right now, your first step is to select a mentor from the table on your course page, and that person will help you through the process of working on your project and dealing with anything that pops up.

Here are some links that you may like to read through:

If you need any help or want extra opinions or ideas, do feel free to ask or email me. I'm also available if you would like to be mentored by me. Thanks for joining us, and happy editing! sonia 04:58, 5 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sure, I'm happy to be your mentor. It looks like you've made edits to both the Ruth Hall article and the discussion page, Talk:Ruth Hall. You did a fine job with the technical aspects of your edits to the article, with good full references to the sources. (There's a bit of unclarity with the grammar, which you should revisit.) You added some different prose to the discussion page, adding on to what one of your classmates had added before... and then you inserted your signature between what you added and the other student's signature. So that made a little bit of a mess, with both of your additions in one block, and then the two signatures at the end so that it's not clear who wrote what.

For the whole "critical theory" section, it might be a good idea to make a little bit more explicit how critical theory is involved. Good luck, and if you have any questions, please let me know. Cheers--ragesoss (talk) 02:56, 7 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
