The Last House

I removed your addition for two reasons. First, it didn't have a source, and per our policy on verifiability, we require a reliable source. Second, regardless of the source what the DVD is called in another location is irrelevant. We're not here to advertise, and a DVD being referred to as "Extended Cut" over "Unrated" is trivial, and irrelevant. Not to mention that we don't even identify what the DVD is referred to as in the US, so what it's referred to as anywhere else is of no consequence. The only important thing is to note that an uncut version of the film was released, not what the distributor decided to call that version of the film.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 18:25, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

We're not here to sell the people of the UK, or the US, a product. Why can't the people of the UK do what the people of the US do....read the box. As for the comment about referring to the US. Read what I said, I said that we don't refer to the uncut version of the film as "LHotL The Uncut version", or something like that. That bit about the "US version" is in reference to the how the MPAA forced several removals to the film, and how there will be a version of the film that is uncut and restores those scenes. That has nothing to do with referring to a product, but explaining that the film had scenes removed by the MPAA and those scenes will be restored. Unless you can show that the UK "Extended Cut" is something different than that DVD that appears in the US then it's irrelevant. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. We note that there will be two versions of the film released to the public, one that contains the theatrical cut and one that contains an uncut. We don't care what the DVD's are called (e.g., "Standard Edition", "Director's Cut", "Extended Cut", etc.), but that there is two cuts of the film. Now, if you want to provide a reliable source for when the DVDs were released on the UK, then that is acceptable information, but simply stating "the UK version is called..." is highly irrelevant.
On another note, keep your personal attacks to yourself. If you cannot handle discussing something with someone in a mature manner, then don't bother asking a question. Also, please sign your name in the future with 4 tildes (--> that's this symbole "~") at the end of your comments. Thank you.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 20:07, 22 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
