This is my introduction to Wikipedia editing. I love Wikipedia and think it is not only a great service, but the concept of interacting with readers is brilliant! I plan to pick some articles randomly to practice and correct my editing "skills," and then actually look at some topics I care about. Thanks.

By the way, if anybody reading this knows - how do I sign my post with four tildes, when I don't have that symbol on my keyboard. Maybe I'll find the answer myself when I read the guidelines more carefully.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Cambridgeny (talkcontribs)

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Look at the keyboard to the left of the numeral 1. Is the tilde there at the top of the key? If not, you can still sign your edits very easily. Look below the text editing window. There, below the "edit summary window) where you should provide a brief explanation of your edit) is the text "Sign your posts on talk pages" followed by four tildes. Just click there and the four tildes are added .Edison (talk) 19:33, 29 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
