Welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your contribution to the Guy Davenport Discussion page. Several students of Davenport worked very hard two years ago to put the Davenport entry in some order. I've made minor contributions (references; facts) myself. The entry continued to improve until recently, when a swarm of Wikipedia Homeland Security sorts swooped down upon it and disrupted orderly work by interrogations and officious edits apparently designed to weed out Terrorism and Vandalism and (heaven forbid!) Wikipedia Nonconformity. Fortunately, these apparently self-appointed policemen seem to have taken their door-to-door searches for signs of Disorder on to other Wikipedia neighborhoods.
Helping make the Wikipedia Davenport entry the best single source of information about my favorite author has been fun (until recently); I hope you will join in.
