Wikipedians try to follow a strict policy of never biting new users. If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator. One last bit of advice: please sign any dicussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. Reverting edits

Saw your edit summary at SynIRC. Check this out Help:Reverting. Basically all a revert is is editing a previous version and hitting save before making any changes. There are ways to speed it up, like through WP:POPUPS, but they all basically do exactly what you did. MrZaius^talk 14:54, 17 September 2007 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:Aperture Science.svg

Thanks for uploading Image:Aperture Science.svg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
