Creation of inappropriate articles

edit

  Welcome to Wikipedia. A page you recently created, Frano Zivkovic, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for new pages, so it will shortly be removed (if it hasn't been already). Please use the sandbox for any tests. For more information about creating articles, you may want to read Your first article. You may also want to read our introduction page to learn more about contributing. Thank you.  If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with;
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors;
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:03, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Frano Zivkovic

edit

Hi.. your best bet for having an article that's kept here is to show us where reliable sources are giving this kid significant media coverage. We can't have an unsourced biography. You say he's a great guitarist, but we can't just take your word for it. On the other hand, if Rolling Stone says it, this counts for quite a lot. Does this help? See also Wikipedia:Biographies for some guidelines about biographies. Friday (talk) 14:04, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Frano Zivkovic

edit

A tag has been placed on Frano Zivkovic requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Excirial (Talk,Contribs) 11:25, 4 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Article moved

edit

Hi. I moved the article (along with the talk page) to User:Bzivkovic/Frano. Here, it's not part of the encyclopedia proper, so you'll have more time to develop it without the worry someone will come along and delete it. Friday (talk) 14:15, 4 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
