Okay, thanks, I thought it was about the album version, because on the huwiki I never use the single infobox, just a song infobox. Cheers, Diaby talk 19:19, 18 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed new policy edit

As a recent contributor to Deaths in 2009, you may be able to help decide on a proposed new policy. It is proposed that:

A month should be deleted from the "Deaths in [CURRENT YEAR]" page ONE WEEK after the month ends.

Please opine at Talk:Deaths_in_2009#Proposed new policy. Don't just say

  • Support.

or

  • Oppose.

Also state your reasons and participate in the discussion. Michael Hardy (talk) 16:39, 2 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re: Edwin Newman edit

The New York Times issued a correction in their Internet article that Newman died on September 13, not August 13. Chris (talk) 20:33, 15 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

You were right. I stand corrected. Sorry about that. Chris (talk) 20:34, 15 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

One source edit

I had cited only one source but kept having the post taken down because I was told "there is only one source." So I cited as many reliable sources as I could find. If there is only one source, it should be Deadline Hollywood, which broke the story several hours before anyone else, and which I had correctly cited in the first place. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.245.205.246 (talk) 04:31, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

I confirm that Buddy Morrow has passed away. Citations will be forthcoming.Eurodog 01:28, 28 September 2010 (UTC)

Drew Holcomb edit

182 on the Billboard 200 isn't big, but it's enough for WP:MUSIC — the album just entered the charts this week, so I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. Cassandra Hodges edit

Hi, Cassandra Hodges commited suicide by Hanging on June 27, 2011 Her cause of death is listed on the Tarrant County Medical Examiner page. all you have to do is type in june 27 and scroll down the page & her name is listed. At least have the time to do the homework before putting down whatever or before removing something.

The cause of death needs to be included in the source listed for her death. Also, the link you have provided does not work (run time error) BurienBomber (talk) 19:43, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I know there a run time error it just happen about a five minute after i put it up. runtime error does happen from time to time does not mean it bad link it will be back up shortly. so u telling me Medical Examiner proof just because there isn't a link that guides proof to ur feet isn't proof? is not actually proof? by the way Her Death serial toe tag number is 1107977 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.128.18.180 (talk) 20:01, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

I don't make the rules for the page. In any case, her entry on the June Deaths in 2011 page will be deleted in 2 weeks if she does not have her own wikipedia article by that time. BurienBomber (talk) 20:07, 11 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Cerati edit

Why do you call vandalism to what I'm doing in the article Gustavo Cerati? Look what I'm doing and then think. I'm helping and contributing, in no way am causing damage to the article. Let's diffuse the situation edit

I've moved our back and forth down a bit into it's own subsection. We really need to set away the sticks and discuss. I'm a stubborn prick, but I'm game for a compromise, if you'd like. Rusted AutoParts 01:26, 22 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Reply edit

The current format makes it seem he wrestled in a company called Hall of Fame. Typically HOF inductions are included either to the beginning or the end of an article, like so:

It's fine that you want to discuss changes, but talking behind my back/not responding to my replies doesn't exactly help either. Rusted AutoParts 17:49, 1 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
You didn't even give me a chance to respond to your replies. You posted this section on my talk page less than 45 minutes ago. BurienBomber (talk) 17:58, 1 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
I added a missing ")" after WCW in the entry so that is now clearer which organizations he worked for and there is a ";" before the HOF mention. It now reads:
  • Roddy Piper, 61, Canadian professional wrestler (WWE, NWA, WCW), Hall of Fame (years inducted).
this is very similar to the second example you listed above. Hulk had the HOF, with the years, mentioned in front of the word "wreslter" and WWGB moved it to after. My main point in the whole thing is that if we are listing the HOF, then it should include the National Wrestling Hall of Fame inductions as that is a true hall-of-fame (The WWE is mostky a story line one and no one votes them in) that encompasses there entire career. Is it possible to for you to move this section to the deaths talk page so that others can comment? Thanks. BurienBomber (talk) 18:13, 1 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
I'm fine either way. If that's the consensus of 3, then I can't argue against it. Personally it seems a bit misplaced on the entry, but like I said, I can get behind consensus. Rusted AutoParts 18:26, 1 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

3RR edit

Friendly reminder about WP:3RR. Rusted AutoParts 02:16, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Bring it on. I am pulling my archives. I have dozens samples of you violating this over the last 6 years, including the fact that you have now changed the George Michael entry 4 times after it was brought up on the Talk Page and there was no consensus what soever for your reverts. BurienBomber (talk) 02:19, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
I can easily pull archives of your disgustingly uncivil remarks towards me. Or you can just agree to either civilly disagree with me and discuss it without calling me a dictator, or leave me the hell alone. Rusted AutoParts 02:26, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
I will gladly leave you alone and stop calling you a dictactor once you stop acting like one and actually work with people. If someone makes a challenge and opens it up for discussion, you wait until a consensus is reached instead of acting unilaterally. I have been an editor for ten years here and have never had a single problem with any other editor other than you. I highly doubt you can say the same thing about yourself. I am standing up for what is right. If I lose my account over Faith v. Last Christmas, then so be it. BurienBomber (talk) 02:34, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Its only you who has this "dictator" lens about me. I don't claim ownership of the article. I don't pick credits to add in because "ONLY I DECIDE WHAT THIS PERSONS NOTABLE FOR". I have had disagreements with editors, but it doesn't mean I'm incapable of going with consensus. There was no consensus on Michael. All it was was you sniping at me. I don't tend to want to converse with people slagging me off at any chance as opposed to being civil in their disagreement with me. It sets the tone I find. I will not pretend to not have instigated uncivil conversations. I did, and have regretted them. But here you're going around calling me a "biased dictator bully" whenever you get the chance. Would you want to work or talk with someone like that? In past discourses I likely wasn't kind towards you, and if so I'm sorry. But I've resolved to approach things differently, and I'd like it if you dropped the dictator lens. That way we can maturely and civilly discuss the matter, as opposed to bad feelings being generated. Rusted AutoParts 02:43, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Alright, I apologize for calling you a dictator. Can I go with stubborn? BurienBomber (talk) 02:48, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
I am fairly stubborn, but I'm trying to work on it. Rusted AutoParts 02:53, 15 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Martin Landau edit

I don't really understand the push for North by Northwest here. As a film yes it's a substantial film in general, but not in Landau's case. I would say Crimes and Misdemeanors is a far more integral part of his career. He was Oscar nominated for it and appears frequently predominant in obituaries. NBN does too but mixed with his other film appearances Rusted AutoParts 05:59, 18 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
