question about the battle of gettysburg?
editin the article on this site it says that the union forces were out numbered. But then in the chart to the right shows that the union army was 93,921 men, and the confederacy only had 71,699 men. which is correct why does it say this?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brokenbrooklynn (talk • contribs) 12:46, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not sure where you're looking in the article, but the two armies arrived on the battlefield at different rates over the 3 days and on July 1, the Confederates significantly outnumbered the Federals. Hal Jespersen (talk) 14:39, 4 May 2009 (UTC)
