Your mention of the work of Julius Evola is especially important, as is the reference to Nazi archaeology, since discussion of a superior Aryan civilization emerges from the same 19th century discourse that inspired Donnelly. The original source of the term Aryan was German Indologist Max Muller, whose work was appropriated for purposes far from what he ever anticipated or intended.
