Brentdavidfraser
Hi Brent. Since you have a conflict of interest, please do not edit your own biography. Instead, please suggest changes or additions on the talk page of the article. Also, please read this essay. Thanks, Goodvac (talk) 19:20, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
Further advice; please read the defintion of a minor edit, as some of the edits which you have marked as minor don't appear to be so. - David Biddulph (talk) 19:31, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (Brentdavidfraser) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.
There are two issues with this:
- It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization or adding links to its website.
- Your account cannot represent a group of people. You may wish to create a new account with a username that represents only you. Alternatively, you may consider changing your username to avoid giving the impression that your personal account is being used for promotional purposes.
Regardless of whether you change your name or create a new account, you are not exempted from the guidelines concerning editing where you have a conflict of interest. For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. WikiPuppies! editPlease refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Brent David Fraser. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Bbb23 (talk) 20:43, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
Your recent edits
editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 20:53, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
Re: My talk page
editPlease read this very thoroughly. It essentially says that you should not edit articles related to yourself, such as your biography. Thanks, WikiPuppies! (bark) 20:56, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
