edit

Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to List of Pimp My Ride episodes have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. AntiDionysius (talk) 16:00, 4 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Wow.... all of my edits were undone. My wife was a contestant on the show. I was on it as well as a friend. We are one of the very few who kept the car and the only one working on a follow up series. Short of Mad Mike, who isn't doing any kind of series, I am the authoritative source. So yes, my Youtube channel is relevant. But the other edits all got removed like listing the correct amount of seasons and such???? No wonder I never bothered to try to add to Wikipedia. Y'all dont want truth. I'm feeling like Jack Nicholson now. Brainshatterer (talk) 15:58, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
Youtube as a whole is not generally regarded as a reliable source, and linking to one's own Youtube channel, even as a source, is definitely to be avoided. Personal experiences also cannot be used as sources, and you probably shouldn't be writing involving about your wife or friend at all under the conflict of interest policy.
That said, the reverting tool's default setting of reverting all of a user's consecutive edits can lead to overzealousness, and I apologise. If you would like to re-add content unrelated to you, your wife or your friend's connection to the show, you are welcome to. AntiDionysius (talk) 16:05, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
