That last experience back in 2010 essentially caused me to walk away from wiki editing for 3+ years. In hindsight, it's sad to think of all the contributions I might have made since then, but didn't. I'm not sure yet how much of my initial interest in contributing to Wiki will rebound, but for the moment I've resumed some minor activity.
EDIT: So far I've made a few updates to a few astrophysics pages, but it's been 3wks and I haven't seen any activity/response on said pages, which I find disheartening. Braddarb (talk) 23:56, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

You clearly have a bad case of two fighting editors. Wikipedia:Requests for comment / WP:RFC might be your best hope of some forward progress, but sad to say I think any experienced Wikipedia editor will run a mile from such a situation (the corollary being that who are instead drawn to it shouldn't be trusted with keyboards).
Reading up on WP:3RR (and it's complaints noticeboard) might give you some useful background, as would WP:NPOV. WP:ANI is there for clear breaches of policy, but (for the sake of all our sanity) such forums carefully avoid getting drawn into content-related questions.
Rollback just isn't the right place. That's a technical privilege to allow easier reversion of bulk simple vandalism (and must not be mis-used for anything more complex than gross graffitti). Your "vandalism" here is anything but simple. If you wish to "rollback" to 15th April yourself, then just be WP:BOLD and do it (I suggest viewing the article history, then editing the version linked for that date). However that usually acts as an accelerant in such content disputes and you may even see yourself being admonished or blocked.
If you want to achieve a stable article by your own efforts, try discussion beforehand through the talk: page. It's an uphill struggle though. Andy Dingley (talk) 16:51, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
Thank you, Andy, for the cogent advice, and for the welcome. Per my reply to peter below, I look forward to getting up to speed and becomming a good contributor. As can be seen from my homepage (re: internet book database of fiction), my chief hobby is trying to provide free helpful information, and a good home, to fellow literati, and occasionally helping out on the Wiki seems like a natural extension of that.
