Hey there. I believe that the article regarding the benefits and precautions of veganism, or vegetarianism for that matter, misses the boat by citing mortality studies while failing to address quality of life issues. After all, it is not just the years in your life, but also the life in your years, that matter. I would challenge someone to seek out more information on studies that might address the relative health of people, and not simply look at their ages at time of death. A meat eater may die at 90, but if he has survived two heart attacks, a bout with cancer, and been bedridden for 8 years, his quality of life is vastly different from a vegan who dies at 90 but was not ill, lived independently and could engage with family and friends until very near the end of life.Ginquiry (talk) 19:53, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
