August 2008 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Lampedusa has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Lampedusa edit

You are injecting an obvious bias into the article. There is a diffrence between asylum seekers and illegal immagrants. I shall revert the article back to the way it was, but I think information about it should still be in the article. Try to stick to a neutral point of view when editing - words such as Eurocrats do not help. Thanks - Sorfane 11:54, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I try to revert vandalism, and vandalism counts as putting biased material into the article. I feel that the word "crisis" would be a step too far in describing the problem that I have seen. The lead tries to sum up everything in the article, and I feel it does that with the current context. Could we keep the previous line that was in the lead, and then expand on the issue later on in the article? - Sorfane 12:01, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
OK, as it's all now cited we'll leave it as that. Sorry if I've caused any annoyance or offence, I'm just, like you, trying to make Wikipedia a better place ;). Thanks - Sorfane 12:10, 3 August 2008 (UTC)Reply
