AMA request

edit

Hello Bongo1234, I'm Steve Caruso from the Association of Members' Advocates. I'm sorry to hear about your troubles with Cake Media. I'm writing to inform you that we have recieved your request, and that we are currently in the process of finding you a suitable Advocate. You should be hearing from us soon. In the meantime, be sure to read through the AMA pages here at Wikipedia to get more aquainted with the process of Advocacy and what to expect. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to leave me a message on my talk page. :-) אמר Steve Caruso (desk/AMA) 14:08, 26 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I'm acting as your advocate. A few groundrules:
  1. I can only advise you on on-Wikipedia issues
  2. I have the right to terminate acting as your advocate
I will do this if you are uncivil to me, or anyone else, or blatantly breach any policy.
Please can you provide me with some background of the off-wiki dispute, so I know about the on-Wiki dispute. I shall contact the other party. Computerjoe's talk 15:26, 2 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm going on vacation so I've contacted another user to see if he can advocate. TY. Computerjoe's talk 12:30, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

David is your advocate. TY Computerjoe's talk 13:39, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Advocacy

edit

Hi, I'm taking over from ComputerJoe as your advocate, due to his impending absence. While in general, our case seems fairly strong, when I follow the URL, it brings up a "this website is coming soon", and I think that the case for linking to a non-existant website is fairly weak. Is it just me, or are you seeing that message as well? --David Mestel(Talk) 13:33, 11 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm going on holiday until 26th August, so please address any queries to Steve Caruso in my absence. --David Mestel(Talk) 05:58, 18 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
Alternatively, you can now address me. Computerjoe's talk 12:05, 19 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Unless you have any objections, I believe this case is inactive and will close it within 24 hrs. Computerjoe's talk 13:32, 22 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Case closed. If you need anything please file another request for assistance. Computerjoe's talk 18:40, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
