Speedy deletion nomination of Trishala Dutt

edit

A tag has been placed on Trishala Dutt requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.   Welcome to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a genealogical site

edit

I noticed you added relatives of the person who is the topic of the article, cousins, and brothers-in-law. Wiki is not a genealogical site, nor is notability established by relationship. This information does not relate to the topic of the article, and should not be included.[1] [2]. Thanks, Piano non troppo (talk) 06:28, 6 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Shaheed-E-Azam

edit

A tag has been placed on Shaheed-E-Azam requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Hello. I'm afraid I need to drop by to tell you that Wikipedia is not permitted to accept content copied from most other websites, and that includes television episode summaries like the ones you placed into List of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Episodes. These have had to be removed to comply with our copyright policy. You are welcome to add descriptions of these episodes, but you will have to write the descriptions completely in your own words. Please review Wikipedia:Copy-paste, and if you have any questions about the copyright policy you are welcome to come by my talk page. Thanks. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 10:49, 24 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
