Mount Tom (Massachusetts) edit

Are you sure you don't mean Mount Holyoke? Or did it also happen at Mount Tom? - Denimadept (talk) 06:21, 8 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

IN 1944 a B24 hit Mount Holyoke at it southeast flank. 10 men died. In 1946 a B19 hit Mount Tom at its northeast flank into a cliff. It killed 25. The first was taking off from Westover and the 2nd circling Westover after a long flight from Newfoundland. Both have memorial plaques but the Mt Tom one is less well know since it is slightly off the trial system.

Ah! I didn't know about it. - Denimadept (talk) 06:09, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

I will give you directions if you want them.

I'm no longer in the area, unfortunately. It was better to work than to remain unemployed. - Denimadept (talk) 07:23, 9 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Connecticut River revert

I really think the wording was better before. There's no "during the crossing" at Holyoke/South Hadley. It's a dam, not a crossing. - Denimadept (talk) 05:14, 4 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
