Reverting vandalism like you saw on the German Confederation article is quite easy. Click the article's "history tab" and find a recent ok-looking version of the article. Click the datestamp to select it. Click "Edit", fill in an edit summary like e.g. "Revert vandalism" and click "save". It is a lot easier to do than it sounds. Speedy deletion criteria

edit

You tagged User:BobM for deletion with {{delete|DUP}}, but there is no such speedy deletion criterion. I have deleted the page as {{db-userreq}} (personal user pages and subpages (but not user talk pages) upon request by their user). However, I strongly recommend looking at Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion and making sure you use recognised speedy deletion criteria. If you don't then one or other of the following may happen: (1) the page may spend a long time waiting to be dealt with, because it is not listed under any recognised criterion, so that administrators reviewing the list of current speedy deletions don't look at it; (2) the speedy deletion may be declined by a user who sees that it is not a valid criterion, even though another criterion might have been valid; (3) the page is deleted, but only after an administrator has wasted time checking what the situation is, instead of being able to read it straight away. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
