August 2015 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Southern California Gas Company, you may be blocked from editing. Alexf(talk) 16:41, 10 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

This is your final warning. You may be blocked from editing without further notice the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to Avtech Corp.. Amaury (talk) 03:00, 11 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sources are required edit

I found it necessary to revert your change to Backpacking (wilderness). Wikipedia requires a reliable source for every statement of fact. As you can see by examining the policy at WP:RS, the source you specified was not reliable, in that it was not published by any group with an editorial board and a reputation for fact checking. --Larry/Traveling_Man (talk) 19:25, 6 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Why do you keep deleting the actual content I’m posting? I get it, I can’t cite from certain sites. I reposted the content (which doesn’t even need a reference in the first place) without the referenced website, then you edited the wrong version and YOU added the citation again. Then, you went back and deleted everything I put again. Why not just delete the disallowed citation? You are doing this site a disservice by arbitrarily deleting pertinent and relevant content that is helpful to readers. If you want to delete the website I referred to that’s fine, quit deleting the valuable information I am posting. From Wikipedia’s dispute resolution page, “ When you find a passage in an article that is biased, inaccurate, or unsourced the best practice is to improve it if you can rather than deleting salvageable text“ Thank you Bmr1052 (talk) 21:43, 6 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Every statement in Wikipedia requires a reliable source. Without a reliable source, you are not allowed to include the statement in the first place. Sure, there are places where someone has failed to do this. However, that's not a reason to make Wikipedia even worse. --Larry/Traveling_Man (talk) 21:49, 6 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

I think you are being a bit too literal. Are you even reading the content I’m posting? In the section I added to there are over a dozen sentences and statements and there are ZERO citations for any of them. You don’t have to cite a reference for a basic information like “ trees are made of wood” . This appears that either A) you are singling me out for whatever reason or B) I have pointed out your mistake and you simply feel you don’t have to back down. In either case I’m politely asking to stop erroneously deleting my content or follow the guidelines and make a correction if you so choose. I don’t want to escalate this situation any further. Thank you. Bmr1052 (talk) 22:07, 6 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but as I already noted, failures in other places to provide citatiosn will not excuse yours. This is a basic Wikipedia principle. If you feel your statement is so obvious, you should have no trouble finding a reliable source to back you up -- then all will be well. Until then, you may not add the claim. --Larry/Traveling_Man (talk) 22:29, 6 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

You have again added unsourced material. Trying to piggyback on other unsourced material gets you nowhere. Also, marking the change as "m" is a violation; please be careful! Lastly, you are edit warring. This can lead to being blocked if continued, especially if you violate the three revert rule ( WP:3RR ) . --Larry/Traveling_Man (talk) 23:15, 6 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

I have made no revision. In fact, it is you that has made numerous revisions. I have posted a notice on your talk page as part of my due diligence. The only edit warring taking place is your actions, as my content has been erroneously edited by you numerous times. Please refer to your talk page for my statement. Thank You. Hello, I am just curios as to why you haven't immediately ( as you were doing with me ) made a revisions to the additions made by user Rwood128? He has made numerous additions to the article and has made ZERO citations. Refer back to your claim above about every statement needing a citation. Also, user Rwood128 removed my addition citing that the source I used was a "commercial" site. So my question is this, You claim personal sites are not allow, he claims commercial sites are not allowed, so what other types of site exist? Either a person or business can own a site, I'm not sure what other options there are. Bmr1052 (talk) 08:53, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
