Alexikoua fixing Izmit massacre'(!)

edit

"(fixing severe pov issues created by permanently banned user)"(!) [1]

So, everybody is going to look the other way? BlondhairGirl (talk) 19:57, 23 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

I agree. Alexikoua and EtienneDolet seem to have rewritten the article to fit their POV with bogus sources, and then pushed for a KEEP vote on the deletion nomination. Absolutely disgusting. Ithinkicahn (talk) 02:59, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Hi, search dispute resolution or let it be, you can be blocked for disagreeing. Mass distortion will continue by vilification of disagreeing users. BlondhairGirl (talk) 09:02, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
@User:Huon, @User:Ithinkicahn Why don't they file topic ban requests for themselves? A topic ban regarding to all Turkish related topics, so their distortion could be prevented. They accuse and get users banned for the behavior they continually display themselves. They did exactly the same in the Yalova Peninsula Massacres (1920–21) article 1 year ago. Alexikoua, Athenean and Proudbolsahye/EtienneDolet, were canvassing together and messed with that article and still have WP:OWN. One example is the source distortion to claim that there were only 35 casualties ignoring that its based on 177 people [2] and ignoring multiple sources reporting thousands of casualties. In that article they first removed all details of the massacre in Izmit, reason was "coatrack" [3] Then in its last stage info about the events in Izmit were reduced to 1 sentence and then that was also completely removed, reason "not part of background"..[4] Now in the present Izmit massacre article they did exactly the same.
A massacre committed on Turks has been changed into one committed by Turks. All sources regarding Greek atrocities were removed. The Izmit massacre has no mention anymore of the fact that the town was burned and plundered by the retreating Greek army. The massacre of 300 civilians were removed. Alexikoua did this on purpose, is again supported by Proudbolsahye/EtienneDolet but still there is no sanction towards their behavior. The famous historian Arnold J. Toynbee was first extremely Pro-Greek but after travelling to Turkey he changed. There he witnessed the Greek atrocities towards Turks (previously unknown for the western public as it is now 90 years later) and only then did he started writing about those. So how could one claim him a discredited pro Turkish scholar? BTW other Western scholars such as Smith and Gingeras mention the events in the town of Izmit and even the British parliament discussed the Greek retreat and atrocities. BlondhairGirl (talk) 09:25, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
The title of the article is now absolutely unrelated to its content. There was no massacre in the surroundings of Izmit or in the town where 12.000 people died. The report is from a long time span (at least 1 year) covering an much larger area than the town of Izmit or its surroundings, it is about events in the Izmit Sanjak and Asiatic side of the Istanbul Vilayet, the size is about 100x40 miles, 70x160 km, about 4,000 mi² 10,000 km². The report explicitly mentions the number to be claimed by the Greek authorities and the number to be exaggerated. The report includes events in several modern provinces of North Western Anatolia. Unlike the 300 figure which was only in the town of Izmit (not in a huge area) occurring on June 24 (not in a period covering over 1 year), nearly one month after the Allied report. So it is not logical to use the conclusion of this report which claims "Turkish atrocities to be more considerable" for later events. When the Greek atrocities had not yet taken place in the town of Izmit. So the present article is totally disinformation for a Wikipedia article. Not to mention that there were much more atrocities committed towards Turks besides the massacre of 24 June. But who cares? Someone who thinks he is doing the right thing will remove all of this without the slightest attention, writing "wrong use of talkpage" and revoke my talkpage access.
