егъэкъабзэ

edit

In the article Adyghe grammar I saw you changed the word екъобзы to егъэкъабзэ in the example бзылъфыгъэм джанэр егъэкъабзэ. Isn't the word екъобзы "(s)he cleans" more fitting rather than егъэкъабзэ which means "to make something clean"?

By the way good job improving that article.--Adamʂa123 (talk) 23:27, 25 September 2015 (UTC)Reply

"The good job" is yours. We use гъэкъабзэн for the word "to clean". Actually I didn't learn the word екъобзы and I thought It's the Shapsug dialect version. Since we use Chemguy as official dialect of Republic of Adygea and most people are willing to improve themselves on the official I thought It would be better to change it to егъэкъабзэ. Though къобзын might be in Shapsug dialect, I wouldn't really call it a Shapsug version of гъэкъабзэн, because you also can use the word егъэкъабзэ in Shapsug, but it's kinda silly. It's like saying in English "make the shirt clean" rather than "clean the shirt". But if in Kemguy it's гъэкъабзэн who am I to argue.--Adamʂa123 (talk) 01:10, 2 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
