Greetings! Looking at your username, it appears that you have created an article, Into the gates, about a novel you have written. Hello, I would like to know what is needed to prevent deletion? The book has yet to be published and the only available sources are those of the author himself.

If the book has yet to be published, then it is not a notable book and should not have an article about it. Only after it has been published—and then after it's won an award or been the subject of multiple reviews from highly-regarded reviewers—would it be eligible for an article. Additionally, using the author as a source is original research, which is not allowed in Wikipedia articles. —C.Fred (talk) 06:06, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
