Hi - I notice that you have added some unsourced material to the article on Matthew Sykes. Please note that any material which is not fully sourced must be removed immediately in accordance with WP:SOURCE and WP:BLP. Thanks for your understanding. Dormskirk (talk) 18:47, 8 March 2015 (UTC)
- @Dormskirk Thank you, but I am Matthew Sykes. I was editing the page about myself as it was not accurate. How do I fix this? Matthew Billyrollo (talk) 20:11, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hi - The main change you seem to have made is to add a statement "In 2010 he was made a Freeman of the City of London." However, it is essential that all statements are properly supported by citations, please read WP:V, WP:CITE and WP:RS on how to do this. Also if you are Matthew Sykes please read our policy on conflicts of interest (WP:COI). Thanks, Dormskirk (talk) 22:01, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Dormskirk I confess I don't understand. in 2010 I was made a Freeman of the City of London, but if you don't like that that's ok too. Billyrollo (talk) 22:33, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
- The point is that you need to provide a citation from a reliable independent published source to confirm that fact. Dormskirk (talk) 23:32, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
