The Covers EP

Hello. I noticed your volume 1 and volume 2 articles via new page patrol. First, I am wondering if you have any other sources availalbe. If you can supply how these charted on a per country basis that would cinch notability. I think you actually only need one country - but the more the merrier. Second, I recommend merging these because it seems they would be sold as one package, and would chart and sell that way. ---Steve Quinn (talk) 04:15, 20 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

I originally wrote it as 1 page, but then decided to split it into two. I was under the impression that there were going to be more than the two releases, so I thought one page that could be added and expanded as needed. But since they ended up with only two, I said to myself, "Self, do the two."
As to charts, I couldn't tell you anything about charts. Even more popular and current items, I don't do charts. Otherwise, I would be updating charts and sales for other albums too. The best I could tell you is the numbers at the bottom of Amazon - they are both around number 2000 in the all time downloaded classic rock albums.
And as far as other sources go, I only have more of the same (no sense duplicating) or what I consider to be less than reputable. And reviews that I wouldn't consider a source because "anyone can write a blog. They are less reliable than a Wiki because there are no moderators" Hey, sorry, again, sourcing is just something that I don't understand. On other items, I have sourced records from government sites and had them discredited as not being good enough. So I figured "F' sources, nothing I say is untrue whether I know how to source it or not". To me, it's all the spirit of a Wiki - other more seasoned users can come and work their magic with sources and making sure things are worded just right - because I am not going to be suspended again for using improper source material ---- how can a government website be considered an unreliable source is beyond me.
