January 2014

edit

I note your recent additions on 14 January to the Wales High School page and your revert of my edits with the edit summary: “Unjust removal, as a student of the school experience of event i known and experienced”. Unfortunately for you, me, or anybody, personal reflections or blog-style entries on a subject are not allowed as we are not considered reliable sources – I am sure you understand that anybody can say anything, but where is the proof showing the fact of what you say. We only have your word that you are associated with the school. If you can find reliable independent sources (such as newspapers but not the school web site) that shows the person/s you write about is notable, there may be some excuse for adding them in.

Please refer to the blue links to Wikipedia guidelines in my edit summary to see where you have gone wrong. I will leave you to rethink your edits for a few hours to give you the opportunity to rectify your additions. This, of course, may not stop others from reverting your personal point of view and conflict of interest – see WP:NPOV and WP:COI for advice. As you are a new user I am quite willing to help you, however, if you persist in adding unsourced text about living pupils from a position of personal interest and bias, this will be seen as disruptive editing, and eventually possibly as vandalism – see WP:DIS. Thank you. If you have any questions add them to my Talk page. Acabashi (talk) 20:31, 14 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not assume ownership of articles such as Wales High School. If you aren't willing to allow your contributions to be edited extensively or be redistributed by others, please do not submit them.

I advise you yet again to look at WP:NPOV and WP:COI as you seem to be editing from a position of considerable bias. Thank you. Acabashi (talk) 15:44, 5 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
