Your edit summary while reverting is Unexplained content removal, but the IP who removed the content had provided reasons and thus 'explained' them, albeit his edits were still wrong and your reversion was right. This may confuse the IP as to where they were wrong. The correct edit summary would be to ask the IP to bring the matter to talk page and explain in length before doing such major edit.
