It looks as if you have followed the outline of the existing article on Vinland for organizing your updates. This was a good way to approach the assignment and makes it clear what it is that you would add. I especially like your thoroughness at including in-text citations and references. However, I do note that there are some places where the language you use builds upon the original language of the article. It will be important to add your new language to the article in such a way that it blends well with what is already there. (You may need to do some additional editing in order to get your additions to "fit" with the existing language. Please note that it would be appropriate for you to modify any language in the article that you think needs to be revised. I think you have done a nice job with this! Note that there is a Wikipedia article about the Vinland map that is thought to be a hoax. This article should be included via hyperlink. You might want to have a look at it and see if you have any revisions to that. Another article that will be of interest is the one on Eben Norton Horsford, a professor of chemistry (and the reformulation of baking powder) at Harvard University who was fascinated with Vikings, especially Leif Ericson. He became convinced that Vinland had been located on the banks of the Charles River Basin in Cambridge, Massachusetts (where Harvard is located), and placed monuments--including the Norumbega Tower in Weston, Massachusetts.
