Please accept my apologies, I hadn't realised that this article had been prodded and disputed before. The prod has been removed now by another user correcting my mistake. However, the article is still without references and does not adequately address the notability issue in my opinion. I have left a message on the talk page of the article discussing this. If you are able to add some references to reliable sources and provide a positive statement of the subject's notability it would address these concerns. Some policies for you to look at include: WP:CITE, WP:GNG and WP:MILPEOPLE. Some articles that you can look at to try to model your article on might include: Oscar Walter Farenholt or George Washington Custis Lee. These should help give you a grounding in what is required.
