@Bellezzasolo: Great improvement over previous rights highlighter scripts! Would it be possible to add highlighting for +patroller? Jbh Talk 17:07, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Jbhunley: definitely possible. I'd just have to fix up the bot to note those perm logs too (although, due to the way the bot works, it takes a couple of hours on first run), and figure out where they go in the heirarchy/what colour. I was thinking WP:SKYBLUELOCK above PC, but below mover. Bellezzasolo Discuss 17:10, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Great. Thank you! One thing I noticed that would be worth putting in the docs (and should have been obvious but I miss obvious sometimes :) ) is that when using the CSS color overrides they need to be listed in reverse order of preference ie sysop last (See this) . When I had +pagemover listed after +sysop I had Cullen328 highlighted as +pmover instead of +sysop. Jbh Talk 17:20, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
Oops, definitely not an obvious issue, I'll get on to it. I have User:Bellezzasolo_Bot/userhighlighter.js/ptusr.js for testing, and my bot is now on its 104 week run (back in time, not forwards!). That should pick up most patrollers - they'll get picked up while it trudges through the EC logs. Now to add it to the script. Bellezzasolo Discuss 17:35, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
@Jbhunley: all the code is in place now - try User talk:SshibumXZ. Now it's just waiting for the bot to fill up the list. I've also updated the documentation. Bellezzasolo Discuss 17:45, 7 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

New Feature request edit

Hello Bellezzasolo,

Could it be possible to not remove the class which strikes usernames when the editor in question is blocked added by the gadget, as I find it useful to know if an editor is blocked when reading discussions (and it is easier to know with the striked username). I think these are classes which start with "user-blocked-". Thanks, Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 21:58, 19 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
