License tagging for Image:Gersdorff p21v.jpg edit
Thanks for uploading Image:Gersdorff p21v.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Thank you for your interest in expanding Wikipedia's coverage of anatomists. I notice that some of your articles are copied from the United States National Library of Medicine. According to their copyright page, the articles are in the public domain, so this is fine. However, you should credit the source. You can do this easily by adding the text {{USGovernment|sourceURL=http://www.....}} near the bottom of the article, substituting the appropriate URL for the source of your text. (This is only necessary when you are copying the text word-for-word.) As an example, I've added this note to the article Jacques Gamelin.
Also, when you create a new article about a person, you should use the proper capitalization in the title: "Jacques Gamelin" instead of "Jacques gamelin".
