A welcome from Master of Puppets

Hello, Beek man, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy editing!

P.S. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you need help with anything or simply wish to say hello. :) _-M o P-_ 18:43, 18 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for being diligent in reverting vandalism and warning the vandals. However, please be careful about one thing -- don't put a block message on the vandal's talk page unless the vandal has already been blocked, since the admins and other users looking at the situation may then mistakenly conclude that the vandal has been blocked. Thanks! --Nlu (talk) 15:32, 21 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

McLuhan/Joyce

edit

I agree with you regarding the Finnegan's wake section of the McLuhan article. It needs to be cleaned up and explained. I merely reverted back to the version with the extra text because the text seems relevant. I can't vouch for its accuracy. — goethean 19:29, 26 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

What nonsense?

edit

Did you tell me not to add nonsense? If so what nonsense are you talking about? I was trying to FIX the vandalism. You should check more closely on who added that ... --Sweety Rose 00:12, 2 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

AFD

I have no idea what you're talking about. Sorry. --Walter Görlitz 21:19, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Looks like an admin fixed it before you got a chance to look at it. Sorry to bug you. beekman 20:23, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Another AFD

edit

Re.Sean D'Anconia. Although this is not a usual situation, where you consider the article nn and not verified, and where the subject appears to wish it to be deleted also, I suggest putting it up for WP:SPEEDY or contacting an admin directly, should it occur again, rather than putting it on AfD where it is likely to attract even more comments which the subject will be needlessly exposed to. I've speedied it, so hopefully that will resolve matters. You might like to watchlist it, in case of recreation. Tyrenius 23:01, 1 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

As I said, not a usual situation, and it can be contentious. See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Daniel Brandt (13th nomination). Tyrenius 00:30, 3 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
You certainly weren't kidding about that. beekman 20:29, 6 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

What do you want exactly? A higher resolution image, or the drawing? If the latter, then here; http://www.amazon.com/Anatomy-Animals-Dover-Books-Instruction/dp/0486447472/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1208849882&sr=1-1 Dark hyena (talk) 07:39, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
