My post on the Lecrae page..
I'm sorry about that.
Let me explain my issue.
There are multiple articles out as of late about an artist, Lecrae, who has been receiving a lot of buzz recently, and one of the biggest things was about him being labeled a "christian rapper" when he himself claims that he does not label himself that. I happened to see the term on wikipedia and I thought i was right in trying to edit out until others informed me that I cannot do that because though Lecrae does not view himself as a 'Christian rappper", many others do and that I shouldn't make changes like that. Instead, they recommended that I add a section explaining this dilemma but I should not edit out anymore references of Christianity. I figured I was doing the right thing when I added that last section.
Was I out of line in adding that last section? I thought it was a reasonable issue that deserved notice on Wikipedia which is why I added it.
I had no intention whatsoever of vandalising wikipedia and I'm very sorry if I did so with these past few edits.
however, for future reference, I would like to be able to run my edits by somebody so I don't keep getting them shot down and further damage wikipedia. If you could help me out that would be great!
Thank you and again, I apologize. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Buchela123 (talk • contribs) 03:26, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
- I would actually suggest that no apology is necessary here Buchela123. Your actions do not fall into Wikipedia's vandalism policy if you look at the contents and not just the edit history.
- Becky Sayles, if you'd like to join the discussion on the article's talk page, we'd be glad to have you. There are two seasoned editors watching the article and can patrol it fairly well and remove unconstructive edits. Thanks for helping out though. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 04:52, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
Olympic Games spoken version
Hi, did you ever complete the Olympic Games spoken version? The in-progress list currently has you listed against the article, and the entry (first in the list) dates back to 2010.
If you want to tag-team the recording of groups of sections I'd be interested in help as I volunteered for this year's London Games. Seems appropriate. Chris W. (talk) 04:15, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
- Hi there. I'd be happy to help out with the recording - we could alternate sections or something of the sort. Just let me know (preferably on my talk page). Thanks. CaseyPenk (talk) 18:03, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

Hi Becky Sayles. Thanks for your comments on this. I made some tweaks to improve the context. Article still a work in progress but please have another look and remove some of your tags if you think appropriate. Tomintoul (talk) 16:05, 28 October 2014 (UTC)
The article has now been improved and expanded. I would be grateful if you could review and remove tags if satisfied. Tomintoul (talk) 09:24, 29 October 2014 (UTC)

Willem Dafoe
As someone who went to school with Mr. "Dafoe", I know for a fact that his given name is Melvin Turtletaub which he legally changed aged 16 by deed poll to Willem Dafoe, a name of a teacher of ours who lost an arm in Korea and proved extremely influential in fostering a love of the arts. The public have a right to know the truth, though I wish nothing but the best for Melvin.
Sincerely,
R. Murphy — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:D:9280:2F3:74D4:29C:BA8D:2284 (talk) 03:00, 30 October 2014 (UTC)
Please site your sources
I smacked my man across the face with a cornish game hen last week. but I ain't never ate one. Please at least site your source or revert your change. Or put my change in addition to yours. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.97.140.34 (talk) 19:25, 31 October 2014 (UTC)
Re: Draft: Randy Sutton
Hi Becky,
I'm the author of the draft about Randy Sutton that was reviewed but not yet accepted: Draft:Randy_Sutton. I've improved it and added a lot of new source material, but I'm unsure how to resubmit. On the draft, it looks like it's still awaiting review. How do I resubmit, or don't I need to?
Thanks, Kate Kseldman (talk) 20:04, 3 November 2014 (UTC)
- Hi Kate. It appears that during editing, a line was changed Dif. It's been added back by the next reviewer, so you should be able to resubmit using that. It may be helpful to check those sort of things when using material from previous drafts. Becky Sayles (talk) 16:34, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
Thanks!
Baines on toast
I've deleted it, but as A7. It was a mistakenly humorous article about a real club (amateur five a side in a Tuesday evening league...). I've explained to them that they've got no chance. Here, that is. They might take the title in their league - but that still wouldn't be enough for us. 8-( Peridon (talk) 11:39, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- What the fuck Becky speedy deleation for talking the truth. Is this how you treat your users? Well me and the boys at Baines on toast are not amused. If you think we are not a team then check out www.soccersixesuk.co.uk then once you have seen this you can then put our page back up Yours truly Ian Holton Baines on toast (talk)
Sorry, it's not an A7. Products and inventions are not included in A7. I've prodded it, but I can see it being at AfD before that runs out. Peridon (talk) 17:33, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks, Good catch.Becky Sayles (talk) 19:25, 5 November 2014 (UTC)
