In response to your message at my talk page:
I would like to know why the Tyro page keeps getting deleted, I have recieved warnings saying it is offensive, but it isn't offensive, it is a review of a popular band from Liverpool.
I would point out that when I remember tagging it, it was abusive and disparaging about the band; asserting that they were very poor (and in doing so, using emotive language). Wikipedia's policy is to maintain a neutral point of view wherever possible -- by avoiding the topic if it's unencyclopaedic, first and firstmost -- by covering all possible viewpoints without making assertions or commenting further on each viewpoint in order to discuss which viewpoint is the 'correct' one. For this reason, the article was inappropriate. Secondly, a review of a band does not an encyclopaedic article make (and for this reason, it would probably still be deleted -- albeit more slowly, or using a different justification, I suspect). For an example of an article written in the general style expected of an article discussing a band, try taking a look at the U2 article. Finally, I would point out that this band may not meet Wikipedia's standards on notability. Angus Lepper(T, C, D) 20:38, 23 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
