Speedy deletion of Devil's Den (cave) edit

A tag has been placed on Devil's Den (cave) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Image:Devils-Den-Small.JPG edit

I noticed the comments on this image that you uploaded and fear you don't understand what you have licensed this image allows others to re-use the image, including for commercial profit, with no further request or input by you. Basically, as long as they attribute you, they can use it at their leisure or will. If you do not intend for this, just edit the image description page and replace all the text with {{db-author}} in there and an admin will delete the image. Thank you. I've updated the license statements. Please let me know if this is ok. Thanks! Beache (talk) 18:31, 27 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re: Why did you delete "Devil's Den (Cave)" edit

Hi, Devil's Den (cave) was deleted according to WP:CSD#G12 because it contained copyrighted text from http://www.dtmag.com/dive-usa/DevilsDenFL.html. • If you have permission from the author, send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain, please offer a link to where I can find that note.
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL.
