Re: Vornado Air Circulation Deletion edit

The article I deleted in 2009 was a single word nonsense creation. If you use a complete sentence then there is no chance of any new article being confused with the trash I deleted.

Of greater concern is your statement that you are in charge of "brand marketing efforts for Vornado Air LLC". Before creating an article I strongly recommend you read Wikipedia's policies regarding Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, Wikipedia:Ownership of articles, and Wikipedia:Neutral point of view. Wikipedia:An article about yourself is nothing to be proud of is an essay that might also be of interest. Additionally, as the article was deleted via a 2008 deletion discussion citing notability concerns (wikispeak for lack of the third-party independent sources needed to meet Wikipedia's policies on Wikipedia:Verifiability and Wikipedia:No original research) you should expect any new article to receive extensive scrutiny regarding the quality of its sourcing. Performing a quick web search, I was able to locate news articles about a 2004 product recall and a couple of legal cases involving Vornado Air Circulation Systems but no obvious articles in the general or business press covering much of the basic background information expected in an encyclopedia article about a corporation. The combination of limited available information about your business and Wikipedia's policies allowing anyone to place unflattering information directly related to the article subject once the article is created may make you consider if creating a Wikipedia article best serves your efforts to better market the Vornado brand. --Allen3 talk 22:51, 4 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
