Hi, please note--Wikipedia is not a free webspace provider, nor an advertising provider. Please don't promote your band here; they only get an article if they are independently notable (see criteria at WP:MUSIC). Thanks, Meelar (talk) 02:15, 7 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

That would probably be seen as a bad idea as well; the project exists to create an encyclopedia, not really for the sort of purpose you seem to be envisioning. My suggestion would be to try Uncyclopedia--they're creating a project that sounds like exactly what you're looking for. BTW, what other articles have been created that shouldn't be in Wikipedia? Thanks very much for your help. Best, Meelar (talk) 20:53, 8 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Someone's deleting your contributions

edit

Hi Batesy02, and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia this week. You may have noticed that other users have been deleting your contributions to articles, such as Wonga Park, Victoria. The reason this may be occurring is that your comments are considered POV (or Point of View). At Wikipedia, we try to maintain a balanced, neutral resource. Thus, when we spot information that may be considered to be one person's point of view or opinion, we generally remove it. You might want to read Wikipedia:Neutral point of view to see how your contributions could be improved. --Cnwb 05:24, 9 November 2005 (UTC)Reply

Urinal etiquette

edit

Hi, just to let you know: I've put your article Urinal etiquette on WP:AFD to be deleted because it's original research and we don't allow that on Wikipedia. If you want to discuss the deletion, please go to Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Urinal_etiquette. Thanks! --Tango 18:59, 23 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, you got there too late. I've removed your vote - you aren't meant to edit AfD's after they've been closed by an admin. --Tango 22:52, 1 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
